A recent FCC filing hints at the fact that the Switch will be receiving Super Nintendo style controllers soon. This can only mean one thing, right?

Too bad they're all probably Console games, I was hoping to replay the original Pokemon games, especially Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald. At least we might get the Stadium Games!

It's just a controller….. Remember when Nintendo said the O3DS didn't have SNES because it wasn't strong enough, yet Homebrew and Emulation proved it to handle SNES just fine? If Emulation on the Switch isn't perfect (which it isn't), then official won't be.

I would love to see the SNES version of TMNT: Tournament Fighters on Nintendo Switch. That would be very interesting.

People keep talking like the SNES games are coming to the Switch. As of right now, I still think this is a rumour. There's no real source that says this is going to happen (yet). I know that it will eventually happen, but the fact that everyone is building up hype over rumors is silly. Don't get me wrong, I want SNES games to come to the Switch. I just don't want there to be false hype. Just cause someone leaked an image of what appears to be a layout of a controller does not mean that Nintendo is finally releasing SNES games on the Switch. Give me a break people! Let's all backtrack, calm down, and wait for some real news about the SNES games on Switch (which will happen, eventually)

Honestly, I don't agree with those who complain about the selection of NES games.
We've gotten 48 games for $20 so far. (Not counting the special save states)
Remember, these were $5 a piece on the eShop.
Are you REALLY going to tell me with a straight face that a package with SMB 1, Lost Levels, 2 and 3, Zelda, Zelda 2, Metroid, Kirby's Adventure, Kid Icarus, StarTropics, Punch Out!!, River City Ransom, Double Dragon 2, Ghosts 'n Goblins, etc. etc. isn't worth $20?!?
And sure, there's plenty more NES games that we want, including some like Castlevania and Mega Man that won't be on the service because those publishers are selling their own collections, or licensed games like the Disney titles, TMNT, Batman, etc. that won't appear because Nintendo definitely won't pay the licensors for them, but it's still a GREAT value. And I can definitely see SNES games for year 2. The only question is whether or not Nintendo will charge extra for access to the SNES library.

What a slow start. I mean, I would rather play $50 a year for the same catalog of games that the Wii Virtual Console had for all those systems, than $20 a year for this slow start of NES and SNES games.

I mean, I'm glad SNES games are coming, but it's so little so late.
